Staging privacy notice — not production legal wording
Song Academy must approve a complete privacy notice, retention schedule and contact details before launch.
The platform stores account and contact details, date of birth and category age at the competition's submission deadline, gender, education institution, entry type, home address, optional Instagram name, parent or guardian contact details where required, song information, lyrics, private MP3 audio, declarations, code use and feedback choices.
This information is used to operate accounts, validate eligibility, place entries into competition categories, prepare judging playlists, administer sponsored or institution entries and track feedback requests. Unpublished audio remains in a private bucket and is available only to the entrant and authorised staff through short-lived access. Administrators can publish selected competition playlists with authorised song details and audio. Private entrant details remain restricted.
Do not upload real personal information or irreplaceable recordings to staging unless Song Academy has invited you to test.
